Laborie
Estate, granted in 1961 to the French Huguenot, Isaac
Tailefert, is situated in the fertile Paarl Valley on
the slopes of Paarl Mountain, from which originate its
rich granite soils and excellent micro-climates, resulting
in the production of ten premium quality, noble varietal
wines. These are available in South Africa and selected
overseas markets. Winemaker, Gideon Theron, has won many
awards, most notably two double gold and six gold Veritas
Awards and gold medals in France and London for his wines.
