Audacia,
a historic farm established in 1930, was rebuilt by the
Strydom Family in 1996 after lying dormant for 20 years.
Situated at the floor of the Helderberg Mountains in Stellenbosch,
this cellar curently processes 70 tons of red grapes only,
with a maximum of 200 tons in future. The National Young
Wine Show 2001, (the only show entered to date) recognised
the potential when the Cabernet Sauvignon 2001 was awarded
class winner for Stellenbosch and the Shiraz a gold medal.
These wines to be released in 2003.
